So i was going about my business replacing my knock sensor, when I pulled the intake manifold out i realized my valves had green all over them, after further inspection I realized that the intake manifold also has what appears to be anitfreeze in it. I took some pictures so you can see exactly what I'm talking about. I'm assuming this means that my IC went bad (Still running stock IC)? Guess its a good thing I caught the problem, and this may be why I cant get 70 MPh with my X-charger....?

The manifold is out not and i'm going to pull the IC out and take a look, I'll report back with my findings. And pictures

Oh, well nvm my previous statement then haha. Wait just for clarification...water is pulled from outside the ski and run through the IC? If you need more pictures let me know.

Yes the water you are riding cools the IC and the Exhaust.

                      I meant fixed my post!

Well at least I have a few months to save up for the new parts. So I'm guessing the next step is pulling the head?

Lock the crank and cam, pull the head. For coolant to make it back through the valves uphill and to the intake mani, you'd would have a good amount of coolant in the cylinders and it should have been noticable in your levels. Is your oil milky?? If you get it back together with a new head gasket and you don't pass compression and leak down then you trashed a ring. Fluid don't compress

Are you sure you're not leaking coolant anywhere else and might have sucked it through the SC?

try pressurizing the coolant system and see if you can spot a leak? im willing to bet its a Head Gasket problem, only because i have never seen a 4tec head crack.

Anti-Freeze in intake manifold and on intake valves

                            Is it definitely a liquid?

Well, Before the last ride of the season I changed the anti freeze and ended up spilling some but I dont think that could have made its way up from to be somehow sucked into the intake. After the week long trip I noticed that the coolant was low, not empty but just a lil low. I figured there was probably an air bubble in the system which got worked out causing the level to drop. The ski didnt act like it had a bad HG, It was stil running over 8k and ran like a champ all week long, nothing like my buddies ski which smoked terribly and would go anywhere. The plugs also look really good not like a SP which has been burning antifreeze.

I'll try pressurizing it tonight to see If I can hear any bubbling or such. GO HAWKS
