Help with 2005 RXT purchase.

I have never before purchased a jetski and am close to paying 4400$ for an 2005 RXT. I am planning a test drive soon before i pay but I could use some advice first. ps. the ceramic washers have been replaced. The ski has 110 hours on it. It has been used primarily in the NC intercoastal waterway. Any advice would be appreciated on the ski itself. the price, the salt water use, questions i should ask the owner, and what to look for when test riding it.

duplicate threads are not going to get you any better replies.

the asking price is book value..so the ski should be in pretty good shape. washers replaced?..get receipts..no receipts?..lower your offer.

I'd pay to have a shop read the computer to determine if there had been any problems and more importantly find the rpm ranges the engine has been run at.

check the bottom of the hull for big gouges

Yeah. my bad on the double post. the first post actually said 2008 rxt by mistake. I tried to edit the original post and endend up created two.
