  • Need your opinions on Supercharger

Hey guys I have a 05 rxp with a factory 215 charger. Should I upgrade the wheel or should i get an X charger and then go from there??? also if

I do decide to go X charger should i get 42lb injectors with it.

The x charger, 42s and a decent ic. Also, a 4 inch intake will really help it breathe. You'll need a new impeller with these changes though.
The x has a few wheel and spacer options for (possible) future upgrades!
I cannot remember if the 05s' valves were problematic. If so, it's worth tearing down and replacing them before bad things happen.

Yea the ski has a few mods already, riva intake, 14/19 repitched, OPAS block offs. Valves are getting done next. will 42s with a stock computer be ok? I plan to upgrade to a 4in intake.

as long as a you have a way to monitor your AFRs and adjust the fuel youll be fine. AFR gauge and a fuel pressure regulator along with the 42s would be a solid setup for the X-charger with stock wheel. Im runnin 50s on my ET-137 set up and im lovin it.

Save your cash and just buy the ET 127 wheel , better than x charger

Depending on how many hours your supercharger has done, I would do one of the following:
If it is low hours, less than 50 or so, buy the et127.
If it is nearing 100 hours, just buy a brand new x charger.

With either one, 42# injectors will be fine. No need to monitor afrs, this setup has been done a 1000 times.

The et127 is the best charger you can get for a 127mm housing, if you are thinking future upgrades, the x charger may be a better option. Otherwise down the track you could just buy a complete charger with 140mm housing, ie rude2, et68-140, etc.

ET127 wheel!! 42's, 4" air and you will need to pitch or buy 15/20. EXT IC should be on your list too!!! Just put this set up on my ski.

Seen arround 75. Was not on the river long to give it a good run. No long enough stretch and still F&*king cold in northen Ontario CA. Greenbullet had this wheel rocking on stock ecu. Believe it was close to 78mph. Maybe he will chime in.

yeah kevin (greenbullet) was hittin 77 and some change on his 127 setup.

and i really didnt like how rich i was running on 42s without a way to adjust. It can cause issues later on down the road. Im sure youll be fine just do your oil changes a lil more often.
