  • deactivate IBR, is it possible.

This may seem like a weird question but I want to remove the IBR. Can I just remove the brake/reverse bucket? What about using software like CanDooPro, Can I "lock" it in the forward position or just deactivate the IBR system. I want the ski to just turn on and go forward whenever its on.

    Thanks everyone.

Not sure if its going to run right if you do disconnect the ibr.
Might put you in limp mode..

Why do you want to override the ibr??

Why disable it? If you don't want to use it, then don't

Yeah it can be done ... Either by Athena ECU , not sure if V Tech can program it out ...

Or remove the IBM bracket and reverse bucket .....

Why do you want to remove/disable it? Just curious.

With Scan Sea software you can disable it. With Candoo Pro you can only "lock" it but the computer will still look for the IBR and throw error codes all the time. Scan Sea will deactivate it like it doesn't exist.

I have a 2010 GTX155 with IBR intermittent issues. I would like to disable it but don’t have an idea of how to do it. Any suggestions?
