The pump is meant to run all the time with the key on.

Any instructions come with the kit? I know on my tx 260, there was a specific spot on one of the ribs in the hull with pre drilled holes for the mounting bracket.

It mounts in front of the waterbox in the ribs of the hull for now. They have a new hull coming with no ribs

Seadoo does not list a kit for the RXP-X 260 yet. So far you have to make one work. With the key on I know on a 2011 RXT-X the pump will cycle for 30 sec or so, then shut off until the built in float/sensor detects water.

You sure? Using the oem kit?

don't think the pump with that kit has a float switch ran it on a battery for 2min. never shut off i would think it would run battery down over time

there is pre drilled holes right in fornt of water box but it does not match supplied bracket
