Dealers seadoo guy is saying the the fizzle xs is to big for the 2008 rxp-x 255

Hi I need to show the seadoo guy that the fizzle xs intercooler will fit the 2008 rxp-x 255 so I need anyone that made it work. Please say so. He saying its only for the rxt-x that has more room.

Didn't you just ask this question in another thread?

It won't fit if its going into the OEM STOCK LOCATION on the 255 skis...It has to be installed where the resonator is, which has to be removed.

Yes I did, but i need more people to say that it can and has worked for the rxp . He is saying I'm crazy and trying to sell me the OME for $1100

Where are you trying to put it-- stock location or do you have the "kit" + resonator delete piping?

Why don't you try to install it the way YOU think it can be installed and you will know a little more about your parts and you will also know if your mechanic knows what he is talking about?

If you are trying to fit in the stock location, it will take you 30 seconds to see that it does not fit.

Visit my website and download the instructions. They include pictures. The inside of the RXP-X 255 is the same shape as any RXP 2004-2011. That would make it at least 2000 people installing intercoolers on those skis from this forum against the word of 1 lonely Seadoo mechanic.

been there done that and got fucked by a shop....
This forum saved my ass. Met mike and hes taught me so much about these skis. Alot simpler than youd think just got a lil less space to work with so you gotta have some patience lol. i wont ever dare take it to a shop. We are the only ones that touch that ski now. A year ago if you asked me to remove the nozzle on my pump i would just look at you funny. ive pulled the prop for re-pitches and put it back together so many damn times i can do it with my eyes closed now.

Thanks guys, I needed to here all that. Got her back today and he said he made it work in the OEM spot and used the OEM pipes and no removal of the resonator. I'm going to take her out this even and try here and also open her up and show you guys what he did. So I will be adding pic by tomorrow and I will let you all no how she works. Thank you all for standing by my self. He really had no choice but to try or be a laughing stock in the seadoo world .
