    Sorry for the sideways pic, but water level at an all-time low at my place that I occasionally ride and, we’ll now you understand the concern and reason I ordered for my 2019 300.

    I think you will be the guy to find out the best spot on the ST3 hull.
    The Groco plastic one will hold up good with stock set up water pressure.
    Just don't loosen the O-ring....

    Few years ago installing the Groco strainer was kinda 'hot'.
    As you can see on the dates of these threads.
    Also the failure rate of the stock IC's was pretty high that time.
    The 300 IC's are apparently much better, at least you don't read that much about them. Only now and then the 'is this condensation' debate.

    I used them in the past but never bothered putting one on my newest ski. So far so good after 2 years. 100% Salt and using SaltAway.
