  • DashPac Product updates and More!!!

Hello everyone, first off I want to thank you all who have purchased our units and thank you for all the feedback.
We have listened and made some adjustments to our units that i think everyone will be happy with.

    New Product!!

    DashPac D1.0 depth sensor module.

We have developed a module that will allow all of those who have, or wish to have the seadoo depth finder installed in there ski, to work with dashpac.
This unit will plug directly into your depth sensor. Once connected simply long press the right side down arrow for about 3 seconds and DashPac will go from AFR mode to depth mode. you will now have three values with DashPac connected. Depth, AFR, and Boost pressure.

This unit will be added to the sites online store late tonight or tomorrow. These units are very complex internally to make the depth sensor operate normally, which is why each one will be built after the order is placed and will take about 1 week to ship.

    PRICE REDUCTION!!!

We are very happy to announce that the oem DashPac unit retail price will now be lowered!

DashPac OEM V1.0 and V2.0 will retail for $399.95

Again due to the holiday weekend these prices will be updated by tomorrow.

    ADDED FEATURES!

DashPac Boost only unit will now have a second function added to display True Gps speed. The rate at which the oem seadoo dash displays speed has some lag and at times is not accurate so we decided to add this feature to the boost only units.

    NO MORE 02 SENSOR CALIBRATION!

We have found from your feedback that free air calibration is somewhat complicated and difficult on the seadoo skis. Mostly due to the way the ski powers down. We are now using a new Patented Wide Band controller chip that no longer requires free air calibration if you remove the sensor or replace it. It just works!

    MORE SKI MODELS

We are currently in the test phase of DashPac on 2003-2005 and 2006 skis. Model year 2007-2009 will be tested once we wrap up the older units. These older skis will require candoo or a seadoo dealer to activate a function in the dash, but we have verified functionality on older skis for AFR only. These units will be available by July 4th and if its possible 2007-2009 and some 2010 models will be covered by the end of the summer.

    CUSTOM BUILDING

We have had a few people contact us about the possibility of additional or different sensor values. Such as intake air temp, Muffler temp and even oil pressure. Oil pressure and or temperature would require the addition of sensors to your engine . Anything is possible however and if someone wants a custom value or sensor added to display with DashPac please contact us and we will work with you directly. We will be unable to set a retail price on this due to the variations of sensors and development time required. Please email the online store to be put in contact with us directly.

Again, Thank You all who have purchased from us. Thank you to all of our testers for all the hard work and sacrifice you had to go through riding all those hours on your skis

Nice write up Evan! Only thing I can add is when ordering DashPac if you can help us get you the correct version please make a note of what year ski you have and if you run in Metric (KMH) or Imperial (MPH).

        Thanks!

I'm currently testing out the newest version with the self calibrating wideband, boost, AND depth finder. It's awesome! Easy to use, and a great diagnostic tool to make sure your ski is in top running condition. No wondering if AFR is where it should be, or if you have any boost leaks. Actually, I checked my intercooler for blow by the other day, the next day on the river, I noticed that I was only making 10psi... Pulled the seat off, sure enough, one of my charge pipes wasn't fully seated and leaking under boost. Quick adjustment and I was back to 12.5psi. That alone makes the cost of the dashpac worth it. Also, it's super easy to toggle between AFR and boost on the fly, even at WOT. Money well spent in my book. I have a video of it's operation on my GoPro. I will try to upload it this week. Awesome product, guys.

Nice, so you guys are taking the raw stock gps signal and recalculating to Garmin matching numbers? Or simply taking stock GPS speed and subtracting 1.5Mph?

We are taking the raw gps data from the internal gps antenna . For whatever reason Seadoo decided not to display exact GPS speed. They probably did it to give themselves a margin of error because some people have seen the dash match garmin speed and others have seen it to be 1-2 mph off . Not all GPS antennas are created equal I guess .

DashPac will work on 2012 and newer Icontrol skis. We make other versions for older skis as well.

DashPac V1.0 and V2.0 displays AFR and Boost. Once you select Depth in the menu on the dash, On the handle bar of your ski. The up/down buttons all the way to the right. One click of the up button will make it display Boost. One click of the down button will display AFR.

If you have a Sea doo Depth sensor and have the add on DashPac depth module push and hold the down button for 2 seconds to display Depth.

We also have a boost only option for people not interested in AFR.

I have boost + AFR unit as well as depth unit.

Would I need to buy another unit to see true gps speed on dash? Since the connector is used already by the boost / AFR unit, would I have to give that up for the gps option (and buy a boost only unit).

I may have to just do without seeing gps on dash if I have to give up AFR. AFR is just too important to me.

                        Thanks.

We currently only offer the GPS speed on the boost only modules.

We could do a custom unit if you want more. Send me a email or PM and I'll explain more. Thanks.
