what would be the best investment for a computer software like buds or candoo or anything else on the market to test and read failures from a seadoo?

Just updated my 3 year old candoo software.
It works flawlessly on my 2016 Rxpx.

It's a great tool.

BUDS is only available at a BRP dealership and is licensed. There are pirated versions out there and obtaining updates would be difficult at best.

The CanDoo Pro is legal, has updates, and proven.

No brainer.

brp has now switched to BUDS 2
the real BUDS needs a computer interface to load programs and updates to the ecu
and was never sold to the public

well I suppose brp may now sell a version of BUDS to the public, anything is possible
but why would brp sell there software, they want the Dealers to have the only diagnostic tools
there is even a $100 year license fee...

There are different license keys, but with the purchase of buds you have one year free with unlimited vins! With the megatech key you can doo everything!
But it would be interesting to hear from people who are using it!

Yes, the candoo can do 99% of what the BUDS can do...

there is nothing better on the market then a candoo for an independent shop, and I seriously considered buying one of the cracked megatech deals when I got back into the business of fixing pwc's but I opted to go with candoo as it can service more then seadoo, has regular updates ( there is a minor fee after the first year) and I don't have any worries about the legitimacy of my equipment.
