7400 rpm's with new washers?

    7400 rpm's with new washers?

    Well, I got my Stage 1 RXP supercharger back on and put new plugs in it and a new OEM battery and that got me back out on the water. Jerry just put new washers in it and bearings and the thing runs out good with no misses but now it only will go 65 mph on the speedo and only 7400 rpm.
    It used to peg 70 on the speedo instantly and pulled much harder. I looked at the wear ring and it seems fine. Any other ideas??

    Which washers did you replace, and are you sure you put the spring washers back in the correct order?

      Jerry did the swapof the bearings and washers. I just installed the supercharger.

        Check hoses and clamps...boost leak?

          Interesting situation. I had the SC washers done(thanks Jerry) and I resintalled the sc myself. I tested yesterday and it runs fine, but only gets up to 66 on gps. I was just a tad faster than my buddies stock 06 RXP. I was getting up to 69+ on GPS before I took the SC out. I am going to tighten down the hoses once more. Oh and rpms's were only 7600 as opposed to 7900 before I did the install.

          I was just wondering where esle I lost the speed from, any ideas....

            you might have a boost leak... check all of your hoses and clamps
