Do you guys feel a big different to put the riva scom and riva power filter kit. Im in toronto so i hear some guys just do scom and they do 75mph constantly no jeed of air filter jowever my weight is 210lbs so any advice on this

Dont waste your money on a SCOM, buy the maptunerX. It's so much more versatile, plus those 2 things wont get you to 75 unless you have the current helping you.

Thats absurd, I have just a scom and I run 76-77 on dash all day long. I havent even filled the ride plate yet...

a scom is 200 bucks, a maptuner is 1500, plus all the screwing around. some people dont want all that.

Agree. I wouldnt do a reflash on ecu.

I'm a firm believer to do it right the first time, because it will always cost you more to re-do it. If it's just SCOM and you want to mickey mouse it why not just disconect the speedo, no GPS, no limiter. Even cheaper than the $200 for a SCOM, maybe we can also justify a reason to run 87 in them cuz it costs a little less, while we are at it.

That wasnt my question. Air filter does it help with the scom? Dont want to go with all mods. Just something simple. I have a totally mofified skis and its lots of work. Anyone that can help. Does air filter is need it.

Power filter with SCOM not needed, motor will be on the lean side then without a tune when you run the Power filter. It's will be a little snappier and you will hear the supercharger alot more. But not alot of gains, you would be further ahead to invest in either the Riva or Auqavein intake grate. That makes the ski hook like crazy

In order to go faster - you need the SCOM - it will bring your PRM's back up to the RPM limiter area. - You can add all the HP you want - but if you don't change the RPM limiter, impeller or the other limiters - you will not go any faster. you may be quicker - but speed will be limited by RPM/ impeller pitch/ boost... Be happy with just a SCOM - it works well - or If you want more - get a tuner. Addiction is fun

Jerry sells the maptuner bundle for $917......where did you get $1500?

And what screwing around? Im sure its faster to flash the ecu then it is to install the scom.

Does it make a different to have the riva scom and air filter?? Does anyone try it. , do you get more top speed? Does it give u more power accelelation. I just want to make sure i will spend the money and its not really need it the air filter and plus US dollar is hight for us
