  • Code P0127 after Fizzle on Stage 3 2018 RXTX

I got the high air intake temp code after putting the Fizzle on. I did drill out both plastic T's to and from the cooler for more water. And I put the anode in the back. Prior to Fizzle , I was on the 8800 limiter now it is at 8240 rpm. I asked Jesus for 9400 limit and both tunes flag the code.

It's a water routing problem. My fault. The OP and I have discussed the solution. Sorry butta for the confusion.

        From the Man himself...

... "The water inlet and outlet cant both be on the front of the cooler. It has to go in the front and out the back or in the back and out the front (your choice) the second hole in the front () gets plugged..."

The Fizzle SuperCooler does not run both the water inlet and oulet on the front of the cooler like the stock setup does. The water either goes in the back and out the front or in the front and out the back. The recommended routing is to do the inlet in the back of the cooler and dual outlets in the front of the cooler.

Haha Seadoo learning curve. I wonder why I wouldn't think it is a dual pass design like the 20 plus Yamaha Fizzles I have put on. And the instructions link was not coming up on mobile. I started this thread on the water.

Added the Fizzle to my 2018 RXT 300 and have the inlet in the back and stock outlet connected to the front. Have the second front outlet to a direct out the back of the ski. Now at idle I do not have anything coming out of the pisser. This tells me that the Fizzle is not full. Should I put a regulator valve on the exit to get it to come out of the pisser? Also I see above that you drilled out the T. May do this on the inlet to add possible flow.

There is barely any water pressure at idle so that may explain it. Make sure the pisser is on the same side of the intercooler as the exit line(s). The Fizzle SuperCooler is built to handle high water flow so please feel free to increase the flow. It will take advantage of the added cooling capacity. Drilling the hole larger in the pump restrictor washer will also increase flow.

Where is the restrictor located on the 18's?

Pull the pump. It is the washer at the top (like 11 o'clock).

glad we just figured that out, now we're left wondering what the difference is between the TX and PX. i guess they didnt want to drill holes in the pump housing to cool the plate on TX like they did for PX ?? didnt want to loose that extra thrust on the bigger ski?
