  • Might be a silly question heat factor

So 2 weeks ago I was out riding and I was hiting 67 at 7960rpm air temp was about 80 and today I was riding same place and it was 102 air temp and was reaching 66 and 7700 rpm. Does the heat make that much of a difference for the rpms?

Yes it does. In my personal experience high humidity hurts performance more than just high temperature. Also the temp of the water plays a big part in how well the intercooler can cool down the air being forced into the motor
