Riva stage 2 plus Oem impeller repitch

Hi all ,

I have an RXT 300 m.y. 2017 where I want to add a riva stage 2 except for the impeller .

I don't want to use the Solas 13/18 but I would like to stay with the oem one repitching it .

How many mm do you think I have to bend the trailing edge to match the 13/18 and with max rpm @ 8300 ?

Very dependant on a lot of things but probably 1.5-2 mm

I was going to get a SOLAS 13/18 because I heard their explosion problems had gone away. Then I see a video from that guy Beowulf and his newer one broke up and busted his hull. I think I'll get my stock one repitched by Impros.

Depending on what RPM you want to run the stock pitch might be ok, I’m running the Riva Stage 2 Plus 8650 on my 19 PX, haven’t touched the stock impeller and I’m seeing 85MPH (Dash) @ 8600RPM

So what is the stage 2 + ?

Very dependant on a lot of things but probably 1.5-2 mm

Pretty close. When I changed my stocker to a 13/18 I lost about 150 rpm.

This is good advice! Do the Stage 2 mods, then water test it to observe maximum rpm, then adjust pitch if needed. Impeller is always last.

Beowulf is a jerkoff, plus thats an old video from years ago, they came out with newer 13/18, just my 2 cents

Stage 2 Plus is the same as the normal Riva Stage 2 but with the addition of VT1100 injectors, stock camshaft retarded and increased limiter to 8650RPM

That's what I thought but I think in the video he said he had the newer one? I might be wrong on that. The JP guys seem to have no trouble and they go 90 MPH all the time.

jp is running xxx charger and every other thing bolted on to hit 90. and ive seen every single video he has released, pretty sure ive only seen 2 skis ever do 90. very impressive, as for the cam retard, i was gonna go this route on my new tx, but i had a left over cam and decided to go that way, but a friend has a 22 tx on order and is going the cam retard and injector route,

Then you've missed a few. One video was them going to New York and iirc they had 3 machines hit 90.
