Riva stage 2 plus Oem impeller repitch

    So basically guys you are saing that the oem impeller with standard picth can keep more rpm that the Solas 13/18 is doing .... So I think that is even better to stay with the oem one . I found that the 13/18 is way too much even for the stage 3 , for example here in Italy a stage 3 rxt 300 we are using the 13/16 instead of the 13/18 as raccomended by Riva and the performance are far better .... What do you think ?

      On the dash with the seat off , that's a good three Mph difference to a real world scenario. Not knocking JP inm any way I 100% understand why he does it that way .

              believe i did 82 around 8300 give or take, thats just rear air and imuk installed

                I hit about the same (without doing the IMUK) rear air and a flash. Did you remove your old intake tube or just leave it?

                    i took mine out, but i did leave it in on a friends 21 gtr, figured air would get directed to the 90 set up i installed, and i was on stock prop jetplane, but i only ran this set up for 2 hours till i jumped to stage 3+

                      Was it easy to pull out? e.g. just the supercharger hoses?

                        are we talking about the same thing? do do mean the air intake tube under the intake manifold correct? im sure you could pull it out if you remove the intercooler hoses. i had the intake out so it was much easier

                              It’s great, my ski wasn’t stock long and quickly ended up running the Stage 2 plus so I cant really comment on a comparison to stock or normal stage 2.

                              The 8650 map seems to run great on my ski and I’m currently getting 85MPH dash at 8600rpm with the stock impeller.

                              Hoping to try a rear air setup rather than the Riva power filter this year to see if I can gain any more rpm but I’m only 50rpm of the 8650 limiter at the moment so I’ll either need to to increase the limiter or have a look at the impeller pitch. I was considering a wheel to go upto the stage 3 setup but I think I’m going to stick with the stage 2 plus and dial it in as best I can to get the most out the stock charger/cam. Mid/high 80’s is plenty for a rec ski anyway 🙂👍🏻
