Jerry, I thought these things were like $300? Will it mount up where my Riva catch is located on my 08 T-X? I love my Riva one but the plastic can is getting tired. Had it for a minute. RR

Gotcha. Where it mounts on the rear is it easier to get to than the Riva? RR

Looking at the bracket and hose shape the only spot this can mount to is right on top of the actual vent/TOPS assembly.

And looks like it would make those 2 screws a pain to get to.

Does this can have any baffling in it to keep the oil vapor from spitting out of the breather? We all know the 300 produces strong blow by and this can being so close to TOPS with not have much hose for the vapor to cling to.

What is the feedback on folks running this can? Can you use it with a 90 degree shorty intake?

I have been running this on my 22 TX with a 90* short intake. No issues with clearance and I took mine apart and put in some steel wool as baffling and haven't had any blowby in the engine bay. Only very minor gripe is you have to pull the engine cover to get to it on the back of the motor but I do that often to check clamps and carbon seal anyway so not a big deal for me.

I have this catch can on my 2022 TX. I have a 4" 90?? air intake. I did not even look to see if can has any kind of baffle. No blow by has been noticed going out of the filter in 12 hrs. The 2 screws are kind of hard to get but not that bad. This can is all metal unlike the plastic Riva one. With this being metal you'll never have to buy another and if they stay with the same engine design you can put it on your next ski and the one after that....

                          Good Info
I heard that it was missing baffling. With that short of a hose, I was expecting it to be a puker for sure. Did you see some mist or spit of oil before you added the wool?

The bracket to engine screws first then the can to the bracket. Thats probably the easiest way.

I didn't have anything coming out before the steel wool just thought it would be a good idea, although I've only gotten a few drops out of the can so far after around 25 hrs. There is enough room around the can to get a socket on the bolts for attaching of course you want to be careful the TOPS valve doesn't fall out when you put it on. I'll get some pictures of it mounted next time I have the cover off.
