Yes, for sure…. Just like a swap.. not close to a conversion ski, but it will work. Same generation IBR also.

      Per the engine tag,

      Power: 179KW (179 KiloWatt)

      which is about 250hp

Which means that engine is a supercharged 4-Tec

It should fit inside the SAR hull but a bunch of the supporting supercharger related hardware would have to be fitted into the SAR hull

Is this supposed to be a running engine or is it perhaps water flooded?

You will also need to make sure that the pump/prop match the engine output. Running a supercharged motor on a non-supercharged prop will turn way too many rpms.

It is a running ski. I know I shouldn't have...... but it started right off.
I am pulling everything out of it and putting it on the SAR. Nothing was left in the SAR so it will be necessary to do this. The pump, impeller, brake shaft, motor, computer, wiring - everything will be swapped.

So far my list of items to purchase is at a single battery. Everything else seems to work. Even came with one key. Has 147 hours on it.
Still researching the best way to align the engine to the impeller without a tool. That may be my biggest challenge yet.

Cruise is being swapped over as well. It will be a nice little upgrade. looks like I just need to add the switch to the SAR handlebar. Guessing that is the computer programming and not hardware that does that function. Should be great!

Really appreciate everyone chiming in with the help. Work begins tomorrow if anyone would like to go hands on!
I will keep you up to date. (if your interested)

Use the 260 pump and prop.
buy the alignment tool or see if anyone in your area has one.
not sure I remember if the harness had enough slack to move from the rear of the ski to the front were the SAR’s was originally with the battery bracket, so you may have to ge creative.

Hey friends! Getting closer to the SAR running. Can anyone help me with providing a location for this hose to connect with? Our memory on it is sketchy.

Looks like the water inlet from the pump. Would normally be laying at the bottom of the hull & would be connected to a T to the IC. RR

It’s been awhile since I’ve done an update. Thought I would fill you in on the progress.

Engine is in and had a sea doo dealer double check our work. They did a test run and all went well. (Top speed of 60 mph they told me) A few things we still have to finish up before it can be put into service. The navigation lights on it are sick! Never seen a ski with those before. We will have some emergency lights added and a flood light for nighttime use. Also a marine radio for communication.

i could use your help on this one issue. The access panel for the battery, (highlighted in photo with red) could anyone provide me the sea doo part number for it? Having a great deal of trouble finding it. Thanks in advance.

This Thursday the graphics guy will remove the old stickers and put all brand new on. Then we will get the inflatable ballast installed. I also need to find a rescue board that will attach to that. If anyone has suggestions on one, I’d love to hear it.

                        Thanks my friends!

They are actually two panels that become one. You can find them at places that salvage skis. Ebay sometimes.

I have been doing some digging and just haven’t found them yet. I thought maybe if someone could look up the part number then maybe a search of the number would turn up a result to get them from.

Depends on which front storage compartment you have, on my 2016 its a single panel with 3 pop clips on top and the part number is 264000114, that manual pic is a different storage compartment from a rxp or something else. If you had an actual picture and not the manual pic I can tell. Greenhulk has a link to oem parts finder at the top of the screen.
