Winterization question... Do I need to Fog the ski if I'm starting it up each week?

I ran the non toxic antifreeze through both my ski's and put fuel stabilizer in as well. Have battery tenders hooked up and I normally fog them as well. It's been a warm winter and was thinkin if I start the skis for 15-20 seconds each week is that good to do to avoid fogging them both for the next month or two? thanks

Starting any engine is where all the wear is. NO. Fog it and forget it for up to 6 months.

If you haven't already fogged them & talking only a month or two then just start them every few weeks. I live in south GA & have never fogged any of my ski's. I just charge, hook batts up periodically & spin them over in drown mode for a few secs then start & let idle for a few secs at a time. I like hearing the T-X rattle the walls in my shop. Been doing this for 15 years now. If I lived somewhere that I knew for sure my ski would not be used for more than 3 or 4 months then I would fog. RR

I've been having brain fog lol Start up is always the worst so I fogged the skis tonight and will wait for the warmth to enjoy life again thanks for the reply

Does your car run 8000+ RPM at full throttle? A little bit of corrosion on a high reeving engine spells a very short life.

BS.......see post 3. Now imagine leaving your ski on the trailer or lift for a month during summer time.

I would never start it a couple time a week or turn it over in drown mode a couple times a week as well in the winter. It wears down your bearings and starter. Fog and forget.
