2012 RXT-260 not starting, just turning over

Need some help please,

took my ski of the trailer and while going to the beach the ski started breaking up and shut off.

Got it back on the trailer and it will not start,
drained the gas , put new gas , change plugs, charge the battery and it still wont start.

It just turns over and over but wont start.

Any help would be appreciated

2012 RXT-260 still not starting

Help needed. So for the last couple days i been trying to start my ski and it only turns over and over and wont start, i change the gas and plugs and still wont start. I noticed a strong smell of gas so started to look and gas is leaking out of the intake manifold where i added the Riva block off cap where i removed the screen inside the intake . Can anyone tell me if this will cause the ski not to start and is this an issue with the injectors? Any help would be appreciated.

I just removed the cap and at lease a half gallon of fuel came out the intake. What is the issue here?

Does the engine have compression?

Is the ignition timing correct?

What happened just before it no longer fires up during cranking?

First, stop creating new threads over and over, this is the 3rd one in 4 days, just use one and bump it.

You need to post more details about the history of this engine, has it been apart? When was the last time it ran? What has been done to it it between the last time it ran and now.

No, leaking gas out of intake manifold is not normal. Is your timing chain still intact?

I took it out in August. It sat in the garage but i would start it at lease twice a month. The ski is stock with just exhaust and intake. Last week i cranked it up in the garage, then loaded up and went to the dock, took it of the trailer to parked it on the beach, right before the beach it cut off and since then i have not been able to start it. There are no fault codes

Do you have compression? If you lost your timing chain and you keep trying to start it it could be the cause of gasoline accumulating in the intake manifold since the intake valves are mostly closed. Normally repeated failed starts would dump gas through the exhaust.

I have not check the compression but it sounds the same as before . I know what a motor sounds like if it jumps timing or is not timed correctly and it does not sound like that at all

Spark, fuel, compression.... you need all 3 so that would be a pretty important step in debugging your issue.

Also, check if your injectors are not leaking badly. I just re-read your post and you said you had half a gallon of gasoline in your intake [email protected] WTF thats not a jetski thats a bomb.

Have someone with a diagnostic computer check the sensor readings a intake temp sensor reading wrong can cause this. I had a sensor reading -4F at 85F the ski was dumping fuel into the manifold but not throwing any faults.

Appreciate your feedback. Thats what i will end up doing, I am tired of messing with it at this point

Undo the intake manifold bolts and pull it away from the head so you can see the injector tips. Wake up the ski so fuel pump kicks in and check for any leaks from the injectors.
