  • 2016 RXP 300 pump support damage

Ok, so I have took off the pump to do an inspection to be greeted by this damage
my question is, can the pump support be replaced without removing the ride plate?
I have just bought this ski without a water test. Very silly of me
I also noticed the front engine mount has a stud snapped off that goes into hull
I'm going to pull engine to gain access to hopefully drill and tap it
has anyone done this to give any advice

Ride plate must be removed. And, you'll need to do an engine alignment too.

That could be from an impeller coming apart, not a fun project replacing the shoe.

Look on the bright side.....its the perfect opportunity to ensure the pump is properly aligned with the thur hull fitting and engine, and it ensures the ride plate and intake grate are also spot on......if he has all the alignment tools. Dealership won't give a crap.
