2014 RXPX 260 RS impeller upgrade

Hi guys,

Looking to upgrade the impeller in my ski due to damage and possibly being the wrong impeller to begin with. IÔÇÖve had suggestions of the solas 15/19, 15/20, 15/21 and 15/22. But being such a broad range of recommendations IÔÇÖm still not sure what to go with.

If it makes a difference IÔÇÖm in Australia and go to lakes with an average elevation of 123 meters (403ft) above sea level. During the season temps are usually around 30-40 degrees Celsius (86-104F), water temps probably a bit cooler and usually not very humid.

ski has the stock limiters and untuned ecu with a 4ÔÇØ intake, catch can, aftermarket intercooler and revs healthy to 8040rpm.

All suggestions and opinions welcome.

Apologies if it’s the wrong section, I started a new thread because this isn’t about an issue, it’s more focusing on the impeller. In the previous thread I got a few different suggestions and I want to know why some recommended different impellers. For example you’ve recommended a 15/21 which is likely what I’m leaning towards however green hulk recommended a 15/22. And other threads say 15/20 etc.

It all boils down to individual experiences with their machine. Obviously environment condition are never the same and your machine is old.
It will all depend on what I stated in the other thread.

Is the engine running properly, with good compression? Do you have leaky valves? Are you riding in high elevations? Is the water cool, cold, warm or hot? Same with the air temperatures and humidity?
