Maybe someone that has this already can post screen shots of all the editable sections from the software since there's no way to do that without the hardware.

I'm assuming we can set our own preferred RPM points for fuel/timing tables as long as we stay within the row/col count limits?

I'm about to start a new thread in the HP Tuners section with a bunch of screenshots of my STOCK 2021 RXP-X file. I did not even come close to clicking on every table and taking a screenshot as there would be way too many pics. And with 4 universal credits what we can do ?
Can i modified the RPM rev limiter and the stock restriction speed limit ?
If i understand i can read my ECM, and modified the stock tune with my preference (rev limiter/speed/torque....), and write the new tune in my ECM.

4 universal credits gives you complete access to modify the stock tune and data log. This includes raising the rev limiter and speed limiter.

Not on HP’s supported vehicles on their website. Can am/Polaris/BRP and only the Bosch ECU, not the Siemens. Which I understand, the Bosch is a FAR more capable ECU than the old black box

Would be nice if they weren't blocking you from opening a BRP tune and exploring the software without the MPVI3 hardware. I can open the car sample tunes that come with the software but can't open a BRP tune without the hardware hooked up. Pretty silly.

With the MaptunerX you have a library of tunes to choose from. With HP Tuners you only have access to the stock tune. HP Tuners is a tool in which you use to edit your stock tune to edit your own map. From my understanding the MPVI3 operates via bluetooth so you don't have to physically connect it to your computer. You can also data log, upload tune you develop, and read error codes on your phone with the TDN app. My MPVI3 will be here this afternoon and I'll post updates after I try it out tonight.

Mr Jr, yes once you set up the channels you want to log on the scanner and how you would like to start and stop logging you send that to the MPVI 3 and then you disconnect your lap top and power your ski down. Then when you power up you ski and the start logging parameters are met the MPVI 3 logs your run, when you stop logging parameters are met then it stops and saves the logs to your MPVI 3. You can log several times then you hook it back to you laptop and down load the logs from the MPVI 3 to your laptop and then open them in the scanner. Then you use that data in the VCM software to modify your tune. You can also do the same thing using you phone as you said with the TDN on your phone then the files saves to your phone and your MPVI 3. The TDN basic log set up is very limited although I believe if you are working with a tuner then they can send you their logging channel set.

Nice, being able to write tunes from a phone and not a laptop could come handy.

For those that have been using this, how fast is tune writing back to the ECU compared to MaptunerX?

Is logging automatic as soon as the MPVI3 is plugged in or do you have to start/stop it via phone/pc.


I'm interested in trying this on my new ski this season seeing that it has can-bus input to hook up and log EGTs.
