Has someone checked how much space there is under the intake manifold if the stock intake tube is removed? 4" hose really won't fit through there anymore? -

Since the hull is sealed up pretty tightly, do you really see any performance gains with these shorty intake pipes?
I have heard that you can pick up 100 rpm or so. With just a SCOM, I'm already past the 8040 rpm soft limiter. I don't believe that my ski would run any more rpm with this, might actually drop if the I-control came more into play. Do you find that you need to raise the rpm limit to take advantage of this mod?. I built a 3” shorty for my GPRXP and when it’s finished I’ll do a back to back comparison and swap the 3” to the 4” and compare logged runs.

I have that ordered from eBay now. But I just want to confirm this is the right parts to get along with the 4 in pipe. The only reason I'll get this is from what everyone is saying about the 4 ply.Leave a comment:
