  • Blow off valve 22 RXPX?

Is it a good idea to install a blow off valve with a stage 2 setup ? Riva waterbox. Free flow exhaust. Short air intake and map tuner x tune. Was considering doing it.

The Seadoo design runs off of the flywheel and the SCer spins up and down with this gear. It has been a long time understanding that the Seadoo really did not need this BOV or got any gain from it. But here lately with the higher boost wheels and the slip of the SCer with these wheel. People have gone to useing a BOV with the higher boost.
IMO a stgII does not need it. I dont use one and have never on my seadoo's since 2004. But i can certainly see the aid to the clutch on a high boost set up.
sigpicDon't sweat the small stuff. Be happy! Ride on!

Agree with Austin. Not needed on a STG2.
2017 RXPX - add on wheelie bars
2013 RXTX - custom muffler bearing

2003 GPRXP - hybrid, runs on 93 octane or sweet tea

This is solid advice! For many years I never recommended a BOV on the Sea Doo skis, but once you upgrade the supercharger on a 300 then I do recommend them.
