  • Rotax Racing question about old RRECU & New SCer Impelle

Will the OLD flash RRECU work with the New RR SCer impeller and stock injectors?

I ask because I am about to buy a old Flash RRECU, but for the use of the New SCer impeller.

    Thank you!!!!

WAG Probably... depending on Ic, prop, etc. The old version didn't have as much timing and more fuel than the new version. Ya know you need to check it with an A/F guage.

Austin--Should work---the stock class ecu works great with the RR SC impeller. In our heat you will have enough fuel.

Ray, did you finally tested your ski with the new RR SC wheel? well today we tested one on my buddie Israel Padilla stage II RXP here are this ski mods, complete Riva stage II + RR stock class ECU, RR 10 psi SC impeller, RR 42 lbs/hrs injectors, Impros blueprinted and repitched 14/20R solas prop, Riva high flow hood, RR 158 thermo, Riva pro series opas block-off

TODAY NUMBERS with 93 deg air and high humidity weather ..

77 MPH (on radar) @ 8450 peak rpms

The ski pull like a train from the hole with blistering accel, at the same time another guy from the east coast was testing another RR wheel in another 04' stage II RXP with his *** stock 38lbs/hrs injectors*** and told us that he ran his boat very hard for a while without a single issue.

Hi Rafy, sorry he didn't talk about speed numbers , he called my buddie and was telling him that he was stomped with the difference in performance after the SC impeller mod, also his ski set-up is very different from Israel since he have more mods than him, for example he is also running a nitrous system with a very (tall) tweaked 15/20R prop to keep his ski away from the rev limiter, also he have the RR race cam, (not sure if the head is ported or not,) and a RR (4501) first generation ECU NOT the same stock class (4502) that Israel is running in his ski.
