Do you mean that if you copy the current link to a GH post from the new site, that link does not then work properly to take you back to the post?

Or are you talking about legacy GH links posted long ago on Reddit and elsewhere, that no longer work to show the specific post the linked used to show?

Post link structure has changed to permalinks from the old thread id configuration. All links are now no longer valid and will redirect to the home page.

I checked and there's no visible relationship between the old post link structure to the new one. The new structure has IDs in the url but they do not match the thread id of the old structure for the same thread.

I think the old links are gone unless the forum tech has something saved that matches old thread id to new ones and plans to implement redirects. Unlikely.

The Facebook/Twitter share icons definitely should go when you guys get to that.

They actually show up if you are not logged in.
Thanks to this new wonderful software, signatures are now something you can choose to see, or not see. Same with avatars.
Go to your user control panel by clicking "my profile"
Then click "edit settings"
Then click "account"
Scroll down to "conversation detail options" and click "show signatures" and "show avatars" if you want to see those.
Then click "save changes" at the bottom.

I actually love being able to share a post from the forum onto Facebook just by clicking that icon.
