  • P0523 Fault code - GTX-S 155

    Hello, Community,

    I have a 2014 GTX-S 155 that just displayed a P0523 Fault code, which looks like a faulty oil pressure sensor/switch.

According to what I have found online, I need to replace the Oil Pressure Switch/Sensor. Is this something I can do without removing the entire top deck (suspension model) unit off the Seadoo? It looks like the part is right near the Oil Filter. Thanks in Advance.

You may be able to get away with unbolting the rear portion of the deck and lifting it high enough to remove the engine cover and get access to it. Chances are you will have to remove the entire top deck. Sea-Doo did NOT make it easy to work on these skis.

Can you clarify the part you are referring to, "engine cover". Is that the black engine cover secured to the top of the motor? Sorry, I don't have it right in front of me.

After removing the top deck there is another cover that has to be unbolted from the hull to get engine access.

Gotcha...thank you. I will take a look at it later today to see how hard that will be. Thank you for the help.
