Ecu, mpem and gauge cluster marry.

Hi all. I have sourced and ecu for my 2006 seadoo gti 130hp, seeing as though the last one popped. I understand that the lcd cluster and ecm need to be married inorder to work. I disconnected the Guage fluster and fired the ski up and it started first time.

When gaugue cluster is plugged in it doesn't start. I sent my gauge and ecm to mate to marry the two so they can live life in matrimony... Lol

My mate says it won't store the flash and requested that I also send the mpem because he thinks this could be the case...

Is he correct in saying that the ecu, gauge and mpem all need to be mated together?

I think they all have to be married. But on my 2006 GTX, I have everything plugged in and just take it to the dealer. I have the candoo pro so I don’t have to take to dealer but it’s easier

I have a 2007 Seadoo RXT 215. I bought it knowing it needed a replacement ECU. Also replaced the Gauge Cluster 278002270. RXT runs fine, but very little features show up on the cluster. I know that this ECU has to married to my ECU. An Administrator on CandooPro.com forum said that CandooPro will not marry the gauge to the ECU. I have seen many conflicting statements on the internet searching. Is this true?? I have CandooPro Home edition. If so, where is it located in the software?

you can try looking thru the manual or just click on the tabs. I thought I saw it on mine but can’t remember which tab but it was there somewhere. Maybe config tab or activate tab. I don’t have my candoo with me right now so I’ll have to check next week
