  • Gauges not powering up no beeps 2011 gtx is 260 no start

So I had a few things happening before this started...so i replaced a stuck throttle body...with body off. Also had to remove battery and housing to seal small leak. During this venture I had top hull leaning on side of ski so I could start/test etc...the hull slid and ripped the small connector out..i put the wires back everything worked fine...my friend used his industrial battery charger on it with wires connected...even though i tolf him not to and jumped ski off charger. It started up ran no big deal....so I put it back together to take to repair place to marry throttle body to computer....while guy is doing it I'm standing there and zap...gauges stop working....it will still start but no guages.....so he tells me I probably need new gauges....I waited awhile. Paid $1000 for new gauges...same thing...no gauges....put old guages back in. Now it won't even start....I'm not great with electrical but looking at fuse box from the rear
..their is no power on the left side.....do I need a new computer. Is there some wiring diagnosis someone can share with me. I'm lost. Thanks

Update. Charged battery overnight. New battery was 8.3 v from store. 13.4 now. Starts with new and old guages but no screen information visible

update, took my long fuses out of fuse box, a few spots very corroded, do those fuses go bad? the long weird ones in the middle?

No they dont go bad but if caroaded they need to all be wire brushed and cleaned then add dielectric grease, i would assume they married the new gauge to the ecu? Or did they?
yep using a jump pack can destroy things plus i assume your in salt water??

They got wet in fresh water....I put new guages in...they were blank just like old ones...boart started and ran .....I have no power on left side of fuse box. I cleaned everything really good with some small files i had. Thanks for responding I'm totally lost trying to avoid throwing a computer in it unless I cam confirm that's what it needs

If you have no power to that side of fuse box and you cleaned all the connections from battery terminals to the negitive lines that run to engine i want to to take a pair of jumper cables and connect the negitive only to battery and the same line hook it to the engine if this brings your gauge to life you have a bad ground if this does nothing and the battery is good pushes at least 12.2v+ then I would after checking every plug in and add dielectric grease, get a good freshwater harness and fuse box and install that befor buying a ecu remember the ecu has to be married to the gauge

thank you for your help, i found a wire going to the guage fuse that was corroded really bad...got lucky pulling my lil bit of hair out over that looked at it 30 times didnt think it was bad and had voltage when test but i guess too much corrosion to let power go to guages idk works now now my guages are saying "fuel sensor defective" and i accidentally programmed my vts into reverse as default do those things have same circuit like a saftey to cut fuel if youre in reverse?
