It probably wouldn't have happened had i not been sucking way to much power through it, but still. They designed that thing to live in your intake pipe, seems like it needs cooling.
    Tank has to move to front and engine sits back 16 inches!

      no prob on rectifier. mines mounted to aluminum gas tank. no issues in 25hrs. the whole gas tank was a difficult expensive learning curve. I would do it different next time.

            Lookin good. So it took me some figuring to understand that thing was spring loaded tight against the bottom of tank. Maybe you get that.
