  • 2009 rxtx driveshaft

Hello I'm looking to get rid of the screw on carbon seal nut and install a new driveshaft but I can't find a part # for a driveshaft that will fit a 2009 seadoo rxtx 255 I'm wondering if anyone here has an answer

    2009 rxtx driveshaft

    Take the part numbers for the 2011 - 2015 260hp ski's.
    They're all the same

Are you sure that's right cause when I look at the part# for that it shows a 271001719 and I ordered that before and when it came in it measured like 23 1/4 and the shaft that was in the ski measured like 25in

I would think the parts from the 08 TX is what you would be looking for. RR

Ok I was confused with the models.

2009 was the first year of the S3 hull with the RXT suspension model.
And also the last year of the outgoing hull of the RXT-X

In the 2010 the RXT-X also came with the S3 hull

They're all fine to use it.........until it strips the splines.....OR, the rubber starts ripping off and it starts vibrating wildly. Freshwater only use don't have near the issues as the salty use ones.

I did my old drive-shaft update just by using 2011 parts, just remove old parts, replace with new parts, have been great, I do recommend the update to everyone with the screw-collar and rubber coated shaft.
