  • Just a confirmation question please:

    - the pdf instructions on page 1 show a 2005+ model year.

Can I "assume" that this instructions are exactly the same for a 2004 GTX 185 SC model?

    Thanks

          • Cheers for the write up

            My issues so far are

Band on exhaust wont release, the nut is all the way out but its stuck in the closed position

supercharger wont release, all three bolts have been removed. It can be rotated but does not just slide on out (and the rotation requires force)
I have tried rotating the engine to see if the gear is holding onto the clutch gear but still the same...
i have tried a lever, still not budging....

and then theres the dropping crap under the engine
I FUCKEN LOVE DROPPING MY SHIT UNDER THE ENGINE!

Screw all the mods, throw a turbo in this bitch and see where we end up.

            • Are there any threads on how to change out the SC washers? Just picked up a 2007 rxt with 30 hrs and want to do the washers ASAP.

                    • Sean, thanks for the great write up!
I used it as guide to pull the SC off of my '04 GTX LTD in about 45 minutes. I'm sure the next time it will be about a 20 minute job. I shipped it to Jerry and he turned it around and on its way back.

                          • I'm mechanically inclined but was fairly intimidated by this task. I read through the instructions two or three times and then referred back to them once or twice while pulling the first of two superchargers. These instructions made it very easy. By time I got to the second one the total time cut down by more than half...maybe 30 minutes total. Thank you!

Hoping to box them up and send them to Jerry as soon as I figure out if they're up and running.

                            • Has anyone seen any good youtube videos or detailed instructions on how to remove the supercharger on a 2013 seadoo gtr? I've seen the instructions on the first page of this thread but that seems to be an older model. I am looking for instructions on a newer model seadoo. Can't seem to find any.

                              Any help is greatly appreciated!
