For those of you using the
          1. Flushing adapter (P/N 295 500 473)
          2. Hose 13mm (1/2 in)
          3. Air hose male adapter

from the instructions, to empty out the exhaust manifold (by connecting it to where you connect the water-hose when flushing)..........do you crank the motor back up for a few seconds when you done blowing air through? Just to make sure you dont have a little water sitting in the cylinders from blowing the air in?

Here's a parts list for annual winterizing and oil change, along with a HowTo video for 4-TEC boat owners.

This post is as much for me as it is for anyone who might stumble across it in a web search. I'm using this list as an annual "shopping list" for part

So the number one thing to prevent damage is to blow out the exhaust threw the flush adapter with compressed air? Where I live we can have freezing temps for a week, then back into the 70's. so I don't wanna fully winterize if there's still some solid ridding in the future.

Basicly can anyone tell me what needs to be done to protect freezing but not fully winterized.

To protect against freezing, just get the water out (rev till the water's gone), flush with anti-freeze, and you should be set.

Is there somewhere on green hulk with an updated/working winterization bulletin? I have an 04 and 12 I really don't want to pay the $179 per ski when i am fully capable of doing it myself. Any help would be great!!

Is it necessary to reset the service light? ALSO is it necessary to check the pump oil/grease? If I do take it to the dealer is there a way to tell if they have checked this?
