          • Figured I would update since my rev bucket trim and ride plate holes filled.

Well I had to refill my ride plate holes. I'm not even sure they were in the whole time of my last speed check.

I made a intake outta the left over rubber pipe I had from changing the exhaust. I removed the resonator and rerouted my exhaust to go under the intercooler piping. That left me with a nice elbow that I put k&n air filter on that let it stick it to the right side of the ski hull. Of course I was thinking everybody uses 4" hose so this might suck......but the opening to the blower is only 2.5". So how bad could this smooth inside 3" hose be? Well apparently not that bad. It picked up about 3mph and 200 rpm with a peak of 8040rpm. It ran 73.xx and I'm still on the stock intake grate also. That's the next change, there's a r&d in the mail for me. I may have to prop it some to stay off the limiter then.......or get a tune to raise the limiter a little. But then I'm done. Mid 70's for about $200 in hard parts seems pretty good to me. Which tune would work best?

            • Another update after the R&D intake grate change. It went 74 mph in some pretty choppy water. On glass I think it would do 75. It was not pulling the rpm that I though it should. I was at 7960 so the rpm was 100 off and the speed was still up. It would go 73 consistently now.

Now for the stuff that no one seems to talk about...the handling and ride qualities of the intake grate. Much better to my surprise. The ski don't porpus that much now, rides smoother and recovers to stability from waters much faster. My wife even noticed how much smoother it rode. Handling seemed about the same in the middle corners but the ski seemed to just ride free'r. Gas mileage seemed better and it seemed to cruise much easier.

I also had to replace my charge hoses since the last update. Something got on one of them and it just turned to gue. I put silicone hoses on it to replace them.

                      • Me and my brother are also looking for some mods, started with the modification of the ECU for a GTI 2011(right sounds crazy) and an RXP 2006. We did this with the Vtechtuned ECU remapped. For information check my site I did not use the tunes but had extensive information of this mods with VTECH in Sweden. But the mods as I can see in this blog are getting more extensive over time wow!!

                        • In the next year I will post a video of the speed performance of my Sea Doo GTI 130 with Vtech upgrade. Stock RPM 7320 with remap could be as high as 8300 RPM. However will do it in steps and look at eventual hardware upgrades as the air intake etc. Seadoo-GTI
