  • A/F bung install

Couldn`t find this anywhere after an extensive search of about 36 pages so here goes. Use a 1" hole saw to go through the outer tube only. B careful on this step not to bust through inner tube. The welder will appreciate it. Next use a 5/8 drill bit to get the inner tube for sensor fit. Bring this with a stainless bung to a good tig welder. He can burn the outer tube to the inner tube first to insure no leak, next burn bung on to outer tube. Camera is at shop, so pics come tomorrow.

Now off to the cement pond with my lil boy for the rest of the day! :P

Not to hijack the thread but I`m doing this between customers, so it`ll all kinda montauge into one. :P Trying freezer method to remove snout from tool. Kanuck, will be sending thermostat out to see exactly what automotive application(s) this is specific for. One thing I`ve noticed is that if using just a gutted thermo for restrictor it won`t do much as orifice is not much bigger aft it. The stock thermostat aslo moves in plastic housing,,,not good. For the amount of work involved,,, its gone. A stuck thermostat ain`t easy in these. Yank it and be done is my advise.

Question: how in the hell do you get the snout out of the tool? Been in freezer and its burning my hand. I don`t wanna bugger up the nipple.

Hoss I used some really large channel locks and got it to turn then kept turning back and fourth pulling straight out to keep from breaking the edge.
My modified lightened and balanced clutch has held up over 4 hours now!!!
Now as soon as I write this it will break in the driveway!

Success boys! If your doing this don`t use the o-ring. No tool needed either. Snaps right in.
