i have just put some new riva washers on my charger and even with 2 shims i cannot get the slip any where near the 80-120 inlbs it should slip at
it seems to be slipping at 45 inlbs
the cog still has the oil grooves on it so it is not worn
any ideas how i can get the slip tighter

How many hours on the charger???Even though you can see the holes on the gear doesnt mean its not out of spec...you have to measure it to see...BUT im betting your SCer has some hours on it and the spring washers are shot...you can try to install them like this )))() or like this ))()) as these two configurations will tighten up the slip...BUT honostly i would measure and make sure all is good first.if its within spec then add some Mcmaster Carr washer (which is available in the GH store) and this will help your slip issue as these spring washers are thicker and tighter than the oems...
