It is good to see write-ups like this. Nicely put together.

Looks like you soldered every crimp connection - correct?

I didn't see (maybe I missed it) any mention of protection of the bilge pump electrical connectors/connections from corrosion and insulation from potential short circuits, especially at the switch.

Is the switch a water proof type?

          Thanks guys!

Yes I soldered every connection and the wire splices are double and or tripple wrapped in electrical tape. You can use heat shrink connectors also. The switch is probably not water proof. If you mount it like I did on my GTX next to the DESS post, it is protected on the inside. Some silicone sealer would be a good addition. On my T-X, I mounted it under the hood for water protection. I left the electrical tape off of the switch for the pictures only, then taped them up! You can put the switch any place.

I have had 3 Bass boats and ALL of them had 1 to 2 bilge pumps from the factory. It blows my mind that SeaDoo does not install them. There have been several forum discussions about guys almost sinking their ski's due to clamps coming off, exhaust seam failures, etc. A $75 investment to save a $10,000-13,000 ski is smart money!!

I also think SeaDoo should have put Groco strainers on every ski too!

          Good Luck

HOW TO: Bilge Pump, Groco Strainer(w/Shutoff) & 4" Kanaflex Install Ver 2

By popular demand I have revised this installation procedure and added a water shutoff valve in line with the Groco strainer. This is a superb way to shut off 100% water into the ski for TOWING purposes! Almost 200 down loads of this document - glad to help out!

WELL LIKE A DOPE, I FORGOT TO ADD THE "ENGINE COOLING" PLUMBING PICTURES, DDDUUUUHHHHHH!!
I'LL GET IT DONE IN A FEW DAYS - SORRY GUYS......

When I modified the original "How To" document I forgot to add the "Engine Cooling Diagrams". I'm a dope, so here it is:
