  • XS Kit Installation Instructions

Here are the instructions for the XS kit in the store in case anyone hasn't received them or will need them in the future. There are 2 pictures on the 2nd page that should help put everything into a visual perspective. For some reason, I wasn't allowed to post a new thread in the how-to section. It must be because I have less than 20 posts (not really)

And here is a link to the kit in the online store. I am working on having the link to this how-to thread placed in the online store description.
Typical gains after installing this intercooler kit are approximately 2 MPH in top speed, 200+ RPMs, and improved acceleration and throttle response. The removal of the exhaust resonator is necessary with the kit, but the stock exhaust outlet and the Off Powered Assisted Steering system can remain in use. This kit includes: The intercooler, stock intercooler block-off plug that is drilled and tapped with multiple boost ports to accept a boost gauge, blow-off valve or rising rate fuel pressure regulator, mounting brace, and all of the necessary plumbing.Installation instructions for the kit can be viewed here: http://www.greenhulk.net/showthread.php?p=1018073#post1018073A water strainer kit from https://www.4-tecperformance.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=419_199&products_id=8866 is highly recommended as an addition to any intercooled setup. It increases longevity and maintains peak performance by helping to prevent clogging of the water passages.Applications: 2003-2009 215 & 185HP Sea-Doo RXP/RXT/GTX Gain 2+ MPH Top Speed and 200+ RPMs Drastically reduce Intake Air Temps (IAT) Reduce Intercooler Heat SoakGain 2+ MPH top speed over OEM Sea Doo 215 HP intercoolerGain 200-250+ peak RPMs and acceleration throughout the power bandKit Contents: The intercooler, full piping kit, heavy duty mounting bracket, and stock intercooler block-off plug with boost portsDesigned for RXP 215, RXT 215, 2009 & older GTX 215/185Stock exhaust outlet and the Off Powered Assisted Steering (OPAS) system can remain in use.Removal of the exhaust resonator is necessary with this kit

As always, thank you for your continued support.

Better yet, why not one for each of your skis? I will do overnight shipping for no extra charge and subtract the cost of a stock intercooler block-off since your GTX wouldn't need one.

Probably the best bang for the buck for the 185!

I am extremely happy that you guys feel the same way I do about the intercooler. It can't be said enough, it's a great bang for the buck mod!

If any of you have a minute to log in to the online store and write a brief review, I'd be very appreciative. http://www.4-tecperformance.com/inde...roducts_id=983

You just don't need the block off plate since your ski doesn't have the internal IC. I'm thinking about this myself... Ron

My friends at the marina must think I'm a real funny guy, because whenever I walkup on them, I can hear them say:
