Done. I did this over last weekend. Very easy to do, and I have never messed with fiberglass before. I used the West System 105/205. The glass laid down great. I watched the RXT-X pump tunnel reinforcement video on youtube and pretty much followed it 100%.
It looks a little wavy and rough, but that's how the tunnel looked to begin with. The glass I laid down looks 100x better lol.

I am about to start this project over the next couple weeks. Not really looking forward to it. Also doing a bilge pump at the same time. I love doing repairs that shouldn't even be necessary on a few year old ski lol.Leave a comment:

No need to be worried about, just keep an eye on it, inspect it every now and then. The tunnel in your ski is more robust than the 2008 tunnel.Leave a comment:

I found a hairline crack in the gelcoat of my tunnel (underneath ski) on my 2005 RXT. It's very slight, is this something I should worry about? I only ride in fresh water.
Thanks,

To the best of my knowledge the tunnel issue is for the 2008-2009 RXT-X255.Leave a comment:

from what i have seen in person, and pictures on here the tunnel usually blows out on the left side. Not sure why though.Leave a comment:
