  • Wow BRP pricing on valve guides

What's BRP smoking, they're charging $44 USD per valve guide It probably costs them 25c to source those.

I realize aftermarket can be purchased cheaper, just wanted to make some fun of BRP like wtf.

$10 for the red start/stop switch knob is highway robbery.

jetskis and parts for it so expensive because they know the customers pays it at any price. car parts are a lot cheaper, see a head gasket for an 4 cylidner car is around 40 usd and for an jetski plus 100 so. the pricing for everything know just one way and that is up.

i guess an new top of the line jetski will cost 40K in 10 years at least

Hate to say it but im one of the people willing to pay for the parts........ Just sucks when every o ring is 5-10$ and is "required" to be new when disassembled. Definitely not a cheap hobby. At least some of the parts are standard car parts and you can just look up the numbers on it and get it for 1/4 to 1/5 the cost

              Use these.....at $14 each:
Eastside Custom valve guides use a high quality bronze alloy that has excellent wear resistance and thermal properties. Our valve guides are engineered for extreme heat, and rpm, and outlast any other bronze valve guide on the market. Valve guides need to be honed to valve size.
