Seadoo HX 4tec pump help/advise

I have a Seadoo HX with a 155 4tec engine in . I've put a XPl pump shoe in and fitted a 148mm setback magnum pump . Any ideas guys on impeller pitch . It's pulling 7900rpm -I am putting in a 88/89 ring to open the pump up to get the revs up to 8100 . Any ideas with pump tuning ideas , pitch , would a small pump work better ?

I just ran across your post. I haven't been on Green Hulk for some time so I'm a bit behind the curve. I'm considering purchasing 2 1997 HX's and wanted to definitely upgrade the engine with the 4tec engine. Curious on how your buildout progressed and if you had any issues that you had to work around. And on a side note would the Supercharged version fit or just too much for the ski? I was originally thinking of the 800 but wanted to utilize a more powerful and vastly more fuel efficient four stroke.
