  • Built some Bomb Proof stands tonight

Well its that time of year and these skis are not as easy to move around inside as my stand ups are.
So I built these off of a pic that I got from snkypete.
Here is the pic, the green ones are what i built.

                I used about 14 2x4 for 2 carts.
Made the to runners 5 feet, the lowers 4 feet. Each going up 2x4 is 15 inch cut at 22.5deg. Then the cross braces are 32inch cut at 22.5 deg on each side. The I added the lower cross bars that I didnt see in the org pic, and i made small blocks to go in the middle of the crass braces.

You can use what ever casters you want, I used 4inch biggest they had at the depot. and What ever carpet you want. I sepnd about 10 bucks on the out side green stuff.

nice job on the carts. I built a great one but these look like they would be quicker and easier to assemble. Are these about the same height as a trailer so they are easy to switch back and forth?

Like shit LOL I have 2 Jk 2 doors. one is the silver one in the pick loaded with a 6 speed got it in nov2006 and it has 7000 miles on it. Then the little lady loved it so she wanted one so I got a green loaded jk with an auto for her but she drives it everyday.

I bought a 2dr tahoe to tow the boat. The JK isnt bad for the skis.
