They did, said i had my bunks in the wrong place. Not really much of a response but guess they thought if they admit to a poor design then they might be responsible for damages.Comment

I have the same trailer, 2014 model, nice trailer. Found out the hard way that the rear step can put some nice marks on your hull.
Was doing a one person load, pulling the WR toward the trailer and it got off center and hit the step. Working on covering the step with a poly block angled toward the bunks. Sent Triton a note about it.
Added Stoltz rollers to protect hull from corner steps on Triton single PWC trailerComment

Worried About Safety in Jet Ski Trailer
I have a similar model - '22 LTWCI-X, I think what is great is the weight, it is very light. However the big concern I have is the winch design as it shifted towards the new ski where after a few weeks post delivery wench went from about a foot away to 1.5 inches. Please see before (with highlighted circle) and after the dangerous shift, I was able to adjust it but wondering if anyone had the similar issue and what was done to remediate. Of course it could be user error!Comment

The arm angle for the bow roller is held in position using just the friction of the two arms against the sides of the winch post, using the two parallel bolts.
My older 2008 Triton Elite had a similar configuration. It 'worked' but the arm angle would shift when the winch strap tension was high, such as winching a heavy PWC into place with high bunk friction. I used a bunk lubricant to reduce the effort needed to slide the hull on the carpeted bunks.
The winch tower design * on my 2017 Triton WC2-2 has the Knott winch mounted with the arm, not on top of the winch post. The arm angle is clamped in place using a bolt through the winch tower plus the bolts holding the winch base in place.
Beyond torquing up those two bolts to clamp the arms as tightly as possible to the winch post, you could consider upgrading to the Knott winch version of the Triton winch tower.
* I did upgrade my bow rollers to Stoltz orange and added a guide roller for the strap to the middle of the arm.Comment

It should be a standard replacement winch, sold by Triton through their dealers. You would need to verify that the Triton part number you order will be of the type you want.
Probably also available through Eastern Marine and other online Triton Trailer parts sourcesComment
