Unload the rear one, then just keep backing until the rear trailer was completely under water and unload the front one. Good Times!!
How did you fasten a hitch on the lead trailer? Did you add any weight or adjust the machines on the trailer to maintain proper tongue weight?

I just welded a piece of flat steel with a couple gussets and bolted on a ball. The front ski was moved up a bit for extra tongue weight and the rear trailer was pretty neutral but never had sway issues.

Interesting. I'm wondering if bolting (instead of welding) a heavy gauge square tube across the width of the rear of the lead trailer and clamping this on. Bolting the tube on would give me the flexibility of removing it completely in the event of a sale or travelling with one machine.

2 in. square receiver opening. U-Bolts mount to 4 in. square bumpers. Easy bolt-on installation. This hitch is not recommended to use on a regular

I could imagine that working just fine.

I used a settup like that when I used to tow a single behind my double. Worked just fine.
I had a Triton double. Might be the best way to attach an extra hitch to an aluminum trailer.

How did you tie into the wiring for lights on the back trailer?

There should be a small hole in the bottom of the back cross member were you can access the wiring harness. Then just tap in with another pigtail.

I did this a couple years back to install my ez hauler in. In the states here not sure what I would need legally but I definitely through about connecting both double aluminum trailers together. Click image for larger version

That is for the double spec ztriton trailers.

For the single Triton, the wiring may run through the frame in a Y configuration with the wires for the left rear lamps running down inside the left frame rail and the right side lighting wires running inside the right side frame member.

The Triton tail lamps that are a large oval in a rubber grommet, can be removed by pressing in on one side of the oval. The pressed in side of the lamp 'falls into' the hollow space and the entire tail lamp can be wiggled out entirely. Which provides access to the wiring behind.

I guess another possibility instead of buying a Tw'N One trailer is to mimic the design of that trailer. Add 2 removable metal links, one near the front of the trailer before the frame starts curve inwards, one near the rear of the trailer. These links would hold the trailers at a set distance apart and keep them going in a straight line.

Weld 2 balls to a metal bar at the appropriate distance apart, and bolt/weld a hitch to the center of this bar for attachment to tow vehicle.
Has anyone tried something like this?

The catch is that a typical single PWC trailer is quite wide, typically more than 4 feet wide (55ÔÇØ to 60ÔÇØ wide for a Triton single). Two of them side by side would be about ten feet wide, which is much wider than the legal limit for a trailer (102ÔÇØ)

The Two-in-one trailer segments are each narrower that a typical single, so that the two when joined together is just within the legal maximum for width.

Ahh. Didn't think of that. You are correct. Mine is 58.5 wide at the tires.

I pulled tandem for a few years. As mentioned already, you just have to work out the tongue weight issue. Oh, unless you are a hell of a driver, don’t plan on backing up with the second trailer attached. My single trailer had a long tongue so it gave me a lot of maneuverability. It took a few extra minutes at the boat ramp to get all 3 off and on but it was no big deal. Both trailers were the galvanized Sportsmans so the double could easily handle the stress of the second trailer.
I bolted an old receiver on the back of my double and tapped into the wiring. It took me a few hours to get the trailer set up the way I wanted it.

I was getting more skis so I finally built a 4 place trailer out of a used pontoon trailer. There’s a thread here from 2006 or 2007 that showed the build. I’ve bought and built a few trailers in my day.

                              good luck.
I may not be the fastest, but I'm NOT the slowest.
