My skis have to hang of the back about 22" to get the weight over the axle. I tried to get the skis up to be flush with the bunks but the noses cover the gas rack and the weight is way to far forward. I think this trailer is designed for a shorter ski. Its super adjustable but the position of the axle to how the bunks are set makes you hang the skis off or mess with the distribution.
