  • Added Stoltz rollers to protect hull from corner steps on Triton single PWC trailer

I have the same trailer, 2014 model, nice trailer.

Found out the hard way that the rear step can put some nice marks on your hull. Was doing a one person load, pulling the WR toward the trailer and it got off center and hit the step.

Sent Triton a note about it.

Working on covering the step with a poly block angled toward the bunks.

Triton has already come back asking for pictures of the step. At least they asked.

I really like my older 2007 Triton single LTWCI (spring). Well I thought it didn't have these same 'steps'
but after typing in my comments here, I checked my trailer pictures (shown in my profile) and sure enough I have these steps too. I guess I never noticed them. I never load/unload with a rope, as I drive it off and on. Either with another person or to/from dock. I do like the idea of poly ends though.
          Sorry about our scratches

Ah, the little step brackets at the very outside rear corners on the single PWC Triton trailers. I too had forgotten about them.

The double PWC Triton models (which I have) do not have the curved cradle cross members so the rear corners are done differently.

My fix for the step issue. No more damage and even helps to guide the WR. Used a spade bit to drill a bolt head counter sink area. There is also a few 1/2" bolt flat washers between the top of the step and the inside bottom of the bell end. The washers help to provide a solid support area for the 1/2" top washer and bolt head. Did not want to see the head of the bolt pull through.

What are those things that you added? I have the same trailer and would like to do this. Thanks in advance.
