doesnt matter what pipe or pipes. its job is to keep water from filling the water box full of water. if you have a rec ski dont bother

      • The jetworks mod does not work with an S3. The S3 is more like a dry pipe as the water is handled different and pulled off at the top.

Bill why won't it work with the s3 stinger, but works with stock s2 and triples?

          • When I put the D plate in I am going to install the chip eliminating the need for the temp sensor. So, that will keep me from drilling another hole in the water jacket. Correct? And like someone asked earlier in the thread. Do I need to drill the hole out that the temp sensor was in before I tap it for the barb fitting? Since it is already tapped for the temp sensor?

            • I reread Hydrotoys write up and answered my question about tapping the original temp sensor hole. But, still wondering about the other hole. There is no purpose for drilling the hole in the raised boss other than relocating the temp sensor (which I'm getting rid of) right?

              • why cant you drill and tap the factory strainer plate?

                Comment

                • I did that on mine and sealed it up with some pipe thread sealant and for a year now. it's been good so far but there's not much meat to grab on the plate for the elbow because of the support ridges.

mostly because of a clearance issue with the speedo... especially when running an aftermarket ride plate

                        • i have wfo's jetworks kit on my 06 gp1300r and was wondering if you can run the r&d triple cool block setup with the jetworks kit and if it would be worth it coz i got one sitting here and havent used it. Ski tends to get hot and the warning goes off if held at WOT for to long in summer here in australia. thanks

honestly... not really. If you have a overheat warning buzzer going off you have something wrong
