I have one last question. I know it requires 91 pump octane for fuel. At the dock you can get rec90 which is 90 octane and NO ethanol marine fuel. Will it run with this ?

No, because the FX hull uses an 87mm nozzle
        FZ uses 85mm
jerry, if i understand correctly, the fx uses a 87mm nozzle with a 155mm setup?
and fz 85mm nozzle with the 160mm setup?

I ran my FZR on Rec90 with zero issues. I would probably only run the stock tune with it.

I wonder how much of this info for the FZR/S is applicable to the FXSVHO models or might there be another file for The FX SVHO models???

                Mike,

I believe the 87 nozzle is used on the 2012+ FX hulls (SHO 155 or SVHO 160), to allow for proper flow with the huge tunnels they have.

Prop pitch is Impeller pitch. If you view the .jpg file you will see the Impeller Pitch listed for each craft.
For example, The FZ SVHO uses a 12.8/20.3 pitch impeller (13/20)
Question so if the FZ SVHO uses an 13/20 from factory and I am planning on flashing with V-Tech tune Stage 1 which requires a 13/20, I should be good to go without pitching the stock impeller or replacing it with a Solas 13/20?

                      thanks in advance

I spoke to a Riva Sponsored racer, and bought his 14' FZR SVHO that he had. He re-pitched the Solas Impeller as part of the Riva staged upgrades to 13/18(.5) and says it is a better hole shot and quicker ride to maxV.

So was the question answered, if so I missed it. If the FZ comes factory with 13/20 then why is solas 13/20 part of the stage kits?

You cannot compare a stock 13/20 pitch to a Solas 13/20 pitch. They are two completely different blade designs. The Solas 13/20 will beat the pants off of a stock 13/20 impeller.

                              hi.
i have an fzs svho 2014 with riva powerfilter / scom / stage 1 cooling upgrade / thermostat delete / ribbon delete / tommy jordan exhaust and a tto digital tach. with the orginal impeller the tto tach shows 7680 as maximum rpm. i bought an 13/20 solas, i havent installed yet and my question is: should i keep the original pitch 13/20 or should i decrease? ride in ocean, tropical weather all the times.
