    Found the issue. With a new stage build and 13/17 prop it was running the same 2000rpm as before and with the Riva 160 upgrade at idle i was too close to the no wake speed. I lowered the idle to 1300 and did a random check to see if it worked. And its back to normal. Thanks for all the above support.

    The Cruise/No Wake handlebar button assembly has a wire bundle about three feet long, sheathed in black.

    There is a six pin connector at the end of the cable, somewhere down under/around the steering column, where the wires all run down from handlebar area into the hull.

    Only five pins are used. Find the connector with these wire colors

    Wire colors and function
    (on the connector side going up to handlebar)
    Black = Ground
    Yel/Blk = Cruise Set button
    Yel/Grn = Cruise Down button
    Yel/Red = Cruise Up button
    Blu/Red = No Wake button

    When you find it, squeeze the release tab and pull the connector apart.

    Using the connector that runs up to the handlebar, use an ohm meter to test the connections between Blu/Red and Black wires. This should measure about 5.7K ohms (5700 ohms).
    Press the No Wake button and the ohms should change to 1K ohms (1000 ohms).

    The other three buttons are simple switches between the wire color and black, but the No Wake button has two resistance values. 1K when button is pressed and 5.7K when button is not pressed.

  • No wake mode not working - No-Wake button ohm values (5.7K and 1.0K)

    Mid-year last season my 'no wake' mode on my 2011 fx sho stopped working. No beeps. No nothing.

    Its not a big deal just convenient sometimes.

    Any ideas tks
