I think this is really going to work for the folks that want to keep the factory oil pump.

To get them off after glued?
        Twist the clip with pliers
It will break the super glue film at the tip of the hose
You are only applying a drop or two of the glue at the end of the pipe only, not the entire clip. Is a much secured oil supply line than with the plastic ties.
These oil lines secured with plastic ties always fail specially jumping waves.
This will prevent engine failures due to lack of lube.

Some where in this forum I read about the Oetiker clamps so while waiting on the OEM parts for the top end on my XLT 800, I ordered some Oetiker SS clamps from McMaster-Carr.

These clamps are definetly the way to go.
I replaced all the fuel and oil lines plastic ties with these clamps.
Don't get me wrong; the installation with superglue and the Yami OEM spring clamps works great also, but I feel more confident with these clamps since I jump waves for long periods of time and my skis are subject to more abuse than normal.
I still applied the superglue drops at the tip of the hoses (oil lines only)
Also I will reconect the oil pump on my XL1200 with these clamps
            Now these are real BULLETPROOF!!!
            SEE PICS
            Thanks Guys

I like what you did. My question would be is the super glue and the oil line itself chemically compatible?
I may not be the fastest, but I'm NOT the slowest.

Excellent question, specially as temperature increases.
We'll see after I put together my XLT 800 and break in.
                  I keep updating

Your call I have done both.

I went back to using the oil pump.
When I had pipes on my ski I premixed if you do a lot of mods to your motor you would want to premix so you get extra oil.

On sleds we would turn up the pump if someone wanted to keep injection with mods.
